Most health care organizations and families of seriously ill children are so strapped for money, that artwork is not in their budgets. Yet research shows that art can help heal both the body and spirit of many patients. The mission of the Room to Heal Foundation is to provide an artistic "healing space" where children affected by serious medical conditions can rest and recover. We will re-decorate kids' rooms, play spaces, or hospitals, to create each child's room of his or her dreams.
Room to Heal Foundation is a non-profit organization (started June 2004). Many volunteer "positions" are necessary to fill for Room to Heal to be successful. If you would like to help with a child's room, or with Room to Heal in general, please e-mail me! The more help we can coordinate, the more kids we can help!
